THE FILM
Racing Grand Teton is a documentary about the evolving drama of Michelino Sunseri’s controversial Grand Teton speed record. The new fastest known time, a record rejected, criminal charges, heartbreak and new romance, a first-amendment lawsuit by the filmmakers, U.S. Senate and House intervention, a trial in U.S. District Court, and then a PRESIDENTIAL PARDON.
The film offers inside access to the eccentric world of mountain runners, the harrowing halls of federal power and their unlikely Trump-era collision. A true story that at times feels scripted, it follows a group of ragtag friends on a journey that challenges your preconceptions.
Slated for release in 2026.
